Colombia PROGRAM

Our Colombia experience is set in Medellín, known as the City of Eternal Spring, a bustling metropolis in the Andes Mountains that has become the hub of innovation and creativity. Its modern skyline is a testament to its transformation, while the warmth of its people reflects the resilience and spirit of Medellín.

Eligibility

  • Be 18 years or older at the time of travel.

  • Able to understand and speak Spanish.

  • Have DACA with an expiration date after October 2024.

    • We can work with you if you are in the process of renewing your DACA. 

  • Have a valid passport from your country of origin.

  • Have no criminal or immigration record.

  • Have proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Program Cost:

The program cost is $4,500, which includes the following:

 

  • Premier Airlines and the most convinient flight to Colombia and back to the United States.

  • A private property with individual rooms and an incredible pool. 

  • Exquisite meals from top restaurants and the opportunity to try local street food.

  • Transportation from the airport to the hotel and all field trips.

  • The ultimate experience for DACA recipients and US Citizens to explore, connect, and learn about Colombia’s history, food, culture, and traditions

Payment Process:

  • Upon acceptance, participants can pay the total program cost of $4,500 to Culturally Travel.

 

  • Accepted participants can pay for the program using any major US debit & credit card. 

 

We can also accept payment installments:

  • Upon acceptance into the program, participants have 15 days to provide a $1,000 deposit to secure their spot.

 

  • Followed by payment installments that can be adjusted depending on your travel date.

Additionally, DACA participants are responsible for the following: 

 

  • The Advance Parole application (form I-131) filing costs $575, and attorney fees may vary depending on the firm.

  • Culturally Travel has identified accredited and affordable immigration firms that can assist accepted participants in completing this process. 

    • The participant pays the cost for advance parole form I-131 and legal representation directly to the immigration attorney. 

    • Note: some immigration firms might be willing to represent accepted participants pro bono. This means participants only need to pay their I-131 application fee ($575).

 

We want all participants to feel safe while traveling on advance parole, and therefore, Culturally Travel requires participants to have an accredited immigration attorney represent them on form I-131.

ARE YOU READY TO APPLY?

The application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. You will need to provide us with general information about yourself, two emergency contacts, and some short answers about why you are interested in participating in the program.

 

Please have the following information and documents ready, and be sure to put your name as is identified on your work permit or passport. 

  • Identification Card or Driver’s License

  • Work Permit

  • Birth Certificate

  • Passport of Country of Origin (if you have it already, not necessary to apply, but will to get it to travel)

  • Parent’s & Emergency Contacts Information (name, address, and phone number)
